Microsoft 365, set up the way Microsoft assumes you already have
Email, files, Teams and licences, migrated after hours with nothing lost, secured with MFA from day one, and supported by people who answer the phone. Most of our clients run on it; most tenants we inherit were set up wrong.
Eight parts of a Microsoft 365 setup that get skipped
Microsoft 365 is what most Auckland small businesses should be running for email and files. It is also the product we most often find half-configured: no MFA, everyone an admin, licences that do not match the people, and a SharePoint that is a photocopy of the old shared drive with the same broken permissions.
We have been a Microsoft Small Business Specialist since the Office 365 days and have migrated hotels, law offices, accountants and workshops. One hotel's move is on our reviews page. The list on the right is what a proper setup includes.

How a migration runs
The same sequence every time, whether it is a dead laptop or a full server replacement.
How much does a Microsoft 365 migration cost?
A fixed price based on mailbox count and how much file data moves. A 10-person office moving from an old Exchange server or Gmail is typically a two-week project with one after-hours cutover. Licences are extra and monthly, and we will show you the right mix before you buy.
Which Microsoft 365 licence do we need?
For most small businesses, Business Standard for people who need desktop Office, Business Basic for those who only need email and web apps, and Business Premium for anyone whose device needs managing or where security requirements are higher. We rarely see a small business that needs E3.
Is Microsoft 365 secure enough for a law office or accountant?
Yes, configured properly. Out of the box it is not. MFA, conditional access, disabling legacy authentication and blocking external forwarding are the minimum, and they are part of every setup we do. Our Microsoft 365 vs on-premise post covers the trade-offs honestly.
Can we keep our server and use Microsoft 365 too?
Yes. Many clients keep a small server for line-of-business software and move email and files to Microsoft 365. The hybrid works fine when it is planned that way.
We already have Microsoft 365 but it is a mess. Can you tidy it?
Often the most valuable job we do. Wrong licences, no MFA, shared passwords, files in seven places. A day or two of clean-up, a structure that makes sense, and a monthly fee to keep it that way.
