Keeping IT real, in Glendene

Technicians with 18 years or more each in large enterprise before this, looking after Auckland small businesses from a base on Rosebank Road. The slogan on the logo is "Keeping your IT solutions real". It means: plain English, honest options, documented work, and a bill for the time used.

How we work

Enterprise habits, small business bill

We work with you to understand how you work, what you do, and how you will get the most out of the IT you already pay for. Each company is different, so the support is shaped to it rather than sold off the shelf.

The technicians brought enterprise discipline with them: monitoring, patch schedules, tested backups, change control, documentation. What changed is the scale. A 12-person flooring firm gets the same firewall and the same backup regime a 500-person company runs, at a cost that fits 12 people.

We measure success by customer feedback. The reviews page has all of it, unedited.

You talk. We listen.

We understand the issue and the requirement before picking up tools. Listening first is the part most IT people skip.

Plain English

No techno babble. You will understand what broke, what we did, and why. You are involved as much or as little as you choose.

Honest options

Two options, both priced: the minimum and the proper job. If nothing needs doing yet, we say that. If a repair beats a replacement, that is what we tell you.

Documented and yours

Every job ends with notes. Passwords in a vault you own, a network diagram, vendor contacts. If you leave, you leave with everything.

Preventative on the job

While on-site the technician shows you the measure or two that stops the same fault coming back.

Time used, nothing else

No callout fee, no travel charge, no minimum. 15 minute blocks. Since 2015 and still true.

The team

The same technicians, every time.

Each with over 18 years in IT across large enterprise and small business before Wizard IT. The person who set up your email is the person who answers when it breaks.

“Wizard IT came into our office, took away all the stress and had the system sorted in a very short time. They look after all aspects of our computer system including our server which links 8 computers and a document centre, emails and all technical support. They have also sourced hardware as we required it at very competitive prices. Always really good to work with and patient even with the most fearful technophobe.”
